Hello Friend

Happy Wednesday!
Oh how I LOVE a short work week....ha!

Last weekend while stamping away I found a few goodies that hadn't seen the light of day for some time.
Distress Inks!
Here I have used Tumbled Glass, Peeled Paint and Worn Lipstick
on the peacock feather from the Peacock Pretties set by Reverse Confetti.
A fairly quick and simple card to showcase this beautiful set :)
Stamps: Peacock PrettiesPaper: White, Black, Pacific PointInk: Black, Distress inks in tumbled glass, peeled paint and worn lipstickAccessories: Spots and Dots embossing folder, Sewing, Dimensionals

Have you ordered yourself some RC stamp sets yet? If you have you should link up your cards in the 'Fetti Finds section of the Reverse Confetti Blog :)

Bundle of Joy - Mojo 294

Good morning

First of all I want to send my thoughts and prayers to all of those affected by the tornados in Oklahoma.
Such devastation and so many lives lost.

Before I heard about the tornado I was busy stamping away. Of course once I heard the news I couldn't leave the tv.

I did create this card earlier in the day for the Mojo Monday Sketch #294.
Stamps: Verve's To The MoonPaper: White, Barely Banana, MME Happy Day DPInk: BlackAccessories: Copics, Twine, Scallop Dies, Yellow Ribbon, Corner Chomper, Dimensionals, Rhinestones

Be Strong

Happy Monday!

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the weather holds out today and we can have a nice family day together in the great outdoors!
If the sun is out and we hear that there is no rain in the forecast we are heading to Banff first thing in the morning! It's sooooooooo beautiful there!
Good times!

Yesterday I did stamp a little bit in between shopping, errands and cleaning.
This was a card I created using the MFT sketch #124.
Stamps: Clearly Sentimental About Audrey HepburnPaper: Kraft, White, EP Bundle of Joy DPInk: MFT kraftAccessories: MFT Fishtail banner dies, MFT Plentiful Flowers, MFT circle nies, Button, Twine, Dimensionals

Happy Harbor - Reverse Confetti

Hello :)

I've been having major issues with all of our Apple products and getting online these past two weeks so yesterday I decided to take a breather from trying to figure it out and STAMP :)

Happy Birthday - FS327

Good Friday Morning!

Happy Long Weekend to those that are able to enjoy it!
Our weather here is going to be crappy :(
Rain which we NEED but that means no real outdoor time.
I shouldn't complain because it COULD be snow, right? ha!

Last Sunday I played along with the Featured Stamper #327 on SCS and cased Silke's card here.
I stamped the background script and flowers in Wisteria Wonder. Wow I can't recall the last time I opened that ink pad. The stems and sentiment were stamped in Lucky Limeade. A little bit of Stickles were added to the poppy for pizzazz ;)

Big Birthday Wishes - DS101

Hello and welcome to another edition of Deconstructed Sketch!
Check out this week :)
I always play way ahead if possible so I created this cute MFT card a couple of weeks ago.
Can't recall the paper but I think it's MME Happy Day.
The sweet PI is from Being Cute Is What I Do and the sentiment comes from an ALM set.

Flower Girl - Freshly Made Sketch

Happy Wednesday and half way through the work week!
I'm off on a road trip to Cranbrook today and tomorrow.
No more little puddle jumpers until fall...yeah!
Love the drive! It's so pretty!

Anyway, I had a lot of time this past weekend to do whatever I wanted and of course I chose stamping :)
This was another card I created using the Freshly Made Sketch from last week.
I tried to mimic the flowers in the designer paper rather than just colouring up the daisy she was holding in her hand.
Stamps are from MFT and paper is Doodlebug.

Happy Birthday

Happy Tuesday!
I think we are finally going to see rain here in Calgary!
It's sooooo exciting! LOL!
We are in desperate need of moisture. My lawn needs to green up!
This card above makes me dream of my gardens growing :)
I combined the Freshly Made Sketch #85 with the Dynamic Duos Anniversary Challenge of choosing an old colour challenge. I chose to DD #18 of Pure Poppy and Lucky Limeade.
Stamps are from Papertrey.

Let's Celebrate You - MFT Sketch #123

Hello :)

Yesterday I did manage to sneak a few quiet hours into my stamp room. It was heavenly!!
I haven't coloured an image up for a bit and when I'm itching to dig out the copics I typically reach for a cute PI image from MFT.
Stamps: PI Birthday Girl, PI Make Mine a DoublePaper: White, Sno Cone, MME Happy Day DPInk: Memento BlackAccessories: copics, MFT flat bottom clouds, MFT Fishtail Banner Dies, Mat Pack and Paper Piercer, Dimensionals
This was their sketch from last week. As you can see I turned it so I could use the sweet flat bottom clouds that I had sitting on my desk from an earlier project.
